Frank G. Salazar’s experience and knowledge in campaigns and coalition building has brought him to where he is today. Salazar brings international and domestic consulting experience to the table with an extensive background combined in governmental, communications and electoral expertise in Latin American politics.
In 1998 Salazar served as a Presidential Appointee at the United States Department of Agriculture during the Clinton Administration. There Salazar assisted on the day to day news operation as a News Analyst to former Secretary of Agriculture Dan Glickman. He later transitioned and joined the campaign media team in Nashville, for Vice President Gore’s Presidential bid in 2000, where he worked aggressively to get top Democratic surrogates such as Governor Bill Richardson, Former HUD Secretary Henry Cisneros and Vice President Gore on targeted Hispanic media markets throughout the United States.
In the summer of 2001 Salazar took his expertise to Buenos Aires and teamed up with James Carville and Associates to handle the day to day communication efforts for Argentina’s Economic Minster Domingo Cavallo. The following year, Salazar joined the presidential team of Bolivian President Gonzalo Sanchez de Losada in La Paz and worked closely with the President’s communication team. Salazar then continued his success back in his home state and managed the campaigns for California’s Border Congressman Bob Filner by delivering victories in 2002, 2004 and most recently in June 2006 which to many political insiders was considered one of the nations toughest primary elections of the year for Democrats.
During the 2006 Election season, Campaigns & Elections magazine called Frank Salazar one of the nations "Rising Stars" and La Prensa San Diego newspaper recently considered him as one of the best Hispanic “behind the scenes” consultants for the 2006 election cycle.
